8 month update

With our impending move down the street, this update will be concise with lots of pictures. We have been spoiled with tremendous support in the packing, moving, and post moving process. The Lord has been very kind to us through the actions of our friends and neighbors. Incredibly kind!

Rachel is a joy to watch grow and discover new things. Her personality is extremely laid back, friendly, and sweet. We are hoping these qualities stick around for life...

She is becoming more and more aware of what's going on- and the babbling has really taken off. When she babbles "mamamamama", it really melts my heart! She is also a goofball and LOVES to just laugh together.

Lots of road trips this month: San Ono Frey (near San Diego) for daddy's surfing

Rachel looking cool at an Easter BBQ

Rare family photo in Francis's backyard

Still working on all those solids: she loves rice cereal, applesauce and squash, avocados, and actually bananas are just ok. This girl doesn't like anything green, like her mom.

A fun get together with the ou's with in n out!

Wayne and Jenn came over to help us pack--Rachel was so excited they were here that she completely skipped her 3rd nap and mommy thought her brain was going to explode, but it didn't

Happy 6th anniversary to us- at Santa Barbara for brunch

Rachel's pretty psyched we have made it this far in marriage

First time in a swing: she LOVED it

Play date with Sofia: very cordial

Play date with Caloway: revenge

Immediately bonded with dear lil spud

First time camping

Daddy and Rachel enjoying the view from the campsite

The view was just ridiculous

Reminiscent of the Napali Coast

Roar! Wearing her hello kitty leopard print proudly (thanks auntie Priscilla!) with auntie grace

This girl loves being naked--
Aunt joey watched Rachel so mommy could pack

Unbelievable how bundled up she needed to be in May...and then today was 99 degrees

First Mother's Day was perfect: sleeping in, flowers, a card, and brunch

Aunt Tina and uncle Jin (not pictured) visited from Houston and came with us to church!

Meeting baby Karis for the first time!
